For the past 25 years Barry Cotton has been supplying fine quality antiques and period English furniture to a wide range of discerning clients worldwide. We are also renowned for our superb range of handmade and bespoke antique replica and contemporary furniture and have built up a solid reputation for our quality and our friendly and efficient service.

Antiques

We source good quality antiques and period furniture and are always delighted to acquire the more unusual or rare items especially if they come with any history or provenance. Recent purchases include Agatha Christie's original writing table from her London Mews home, and a wonderful Sideboard and Screen from the Althorp Collection (the ancestral home of Princess Diana).
Our clients can buy with confidence and peace of mind as we guarantee all our antiques to be the genuine article and all items are sold with a full description together with any relevant information including any provenance available, date of manufacture and period.

We also offer a finding service for any antiques or requests that may not currently be in our stock.

Handmade Furniture

Our range of traditional and contemporary furniture is entirely handmade to order in our Norwich workshops in the UK, by our dedicated team of highly skilled craftsmen who create furniture of unparalleled quality, using only the finest materials available. A close scrutiny of our furniture will reveal the painstaking attention to design, detail and finish. Our traditional range of furniture is entirely hand polished using traditional French polishing techniques and is aged and lightly distressed to create a superb antique finish that will not fail to impress the most discerning of buyers.

We are inspired by some of the great cabinet makers from the 18th and 19th centuries. By employing traditional methods of construction and finishing, we are able to capture the charm and appeal of an era renowned for its fine furniture.

Our contemporary furniture has a whole different feel about it. Stunning new designs employing the use of exotic woods but still maintaining the quality and workmanship that you would expect from Barry Cotton.
